FRS at The Amex

On Saturday 17th December First Recruitment Services once again entertained clients at The American Express Community Stadium (The Amex), the newly built state of the art stadium, home to Brighton & Hove Albion FC.
It was the sixth time this season that FRS clients enjoyed a day out at The Amex, currently the hottest ticket in town! Despite two sendings off for Brighton, everybody enjoyed a fantastic atmosphere and a wonderful fight back from the home team, who nearly rescued a point in the final seconds of the game!

Celebrity Chef joins FRS

Celebrity chef, Jason Atherton, joined some of the FRS team when they dined at his latest restaurant, Pollen Street Social, in London W1. Atherton is famed as being Gordon Ramsay's former top chef and for his appearances on Saturday Kitchen and double victory on BBC's The Great British Menu. He helped the FRS team celebrate sustained growth with the recent surge in permanent placements and temporary assignments, as the economic climate continues to brighten.
Claire Sipple Joins FRS

First Recruitment Services is delighted to announce that Claire Sipple has joined the Company as Manager of its Bromley branch. Claire's name is synonymous with recruitment in the Kent area having held senior consultant and management positions with leading recruiters in the region for over a decade.
Claire said "Joining First Recruitment Services was something I've wanted to do for a long time. I've always regarded them as one of the very best agencies in the South East, and you know what they say, if you can't beat them – join them!"
FRS Managing Director, Andrew Kaltz, added "To have Claire on board is a real coup. She is the most talented and accomplished recruitment manager in this part of Kent and her impact has been immediate. The truth is, we had been tracking her for some time, and headhunting her to come and spearhead our local operation has proved to be an instant success".

FRS Staff on TV

First Recruitment Services were very proud when two of their staff were chosen to appear on Sky Sports in January. Joel from the FRS Accounts Department and Jake, a part time Administrator at FRS Brighton, were chosen to appear on Sky's famous football show, Take it Like a Fan. Appearing alongside the shows presenters "Fenners" and Charlotte Jackson the pair were filmed live at Brighton's Withdean stadium before the league one match against Peterborough on January 15th.
Jake won £120 cash for correctly answering a series of football related questions. Joel answered a further set of questions correctly to earn the right of stepping onto the pitch at half time to take a penalty and earn himself £500. Sadly, in front of a crowd of almost 8,000 fans Joel's penalty was saved and the £20 consolation prize came his way.
The TV appearance topped a great day for a large group of First Recruitment Services staff and their clients as they cheered Brighton onto victory.

Continued Growth

Recruitment International
September 2008
Despite tough trading conditions, First Recruitment Services, one of the South's leading independent agency groups, has reported a very healthy set of half year results. Don Jeal (pictured), formerly of The London Stock Exchange, and now FD at First Recruitment Services said "Combined Permanent and Temporary division sales to the 30th June were up 16% on 2007's results, with pre tax profit up 20% for the same period".
Managing Director, and former BBC Job Doctor, Andrew Kaltz added "Increased sales across the board, together with four significant contract wins, have contributed to a brilliant first six months of the year. Although some agencies are claiming to find it tough out there we expect to report additional growth and success as the year continues".
Flourishing World of Recruitment

Recruitment International Magazine
January 2008
Recruitment International asked industry experts to predict the top recruitment stories for 2008. Andrew Kaltz, Managing Director at First Recruitment Services, responded...
"In 2008 the wonderful world of recruitment will continue to flourish. Huge worldwide agencies will continue to swallow up each other, grow even larger and squash margins and revenues in the process. More excitingly, decent regional independent agencies will continue to provide a far better, personal service, for a decent fee with better quality candidates".
